Blitz Golf is set to invigorate Glenelg this weekend with its family-friendly day out.

Coming up this Sunday 10 January, the event features live music, food trucks, pop-up bars, Kidz Zones, dancing, activities, giveaways, and competitions, as well as opportunities to meet and chat to the players.

Local sports stars including Taylor Walker, Ryan Burton, Kevin Brooks, Brett Maher and Courtney Cramey will face off against some of the best talent in golf, including Peter Senior, Steph Kyriacou, Dimi Papadatos, Zach Murray, Adam Bland, Matt Griffin and Karis Davidson (plus many more Australians from European and Japanese tours).

Blitz works to rewrite the rule book and make golf an inclusive game for spectators, players and families alike by having something for everyone, whether they are huge golf fans or new to the sport. The energetic, ten-hole golf tournament has 32 players and there’s no boundaries with both men and women rivalling one another.

Eventgoers are encouraged to sit on the grass with a G&T or a Coopers beer as they watch the tournament play out, in this fresh event format dubbed the “Twenty20 of golf’.

The event will run from 12pm – 4.30pm at Glenelg Golf Course on January 10, 2021 and tickets are free for under 18s or $10 per adult, available at the Blitz Golf website.
