Mount Gambier’s Blue Lake Holiday Park has just unveiled its most exciting feature yet- an indoor heated pool, complete with waterslides.
Originally scheduled to open at the end of the year, the pool was diligently wrapped up by the committed construction team behind the build just in time for the school holidays and was 15 months in the making.
The buzz surrounding the pool’s development has been huge on social media and throughout the local community, and Blue Lake Holiday Park owner Tim Rowett is thrilled with the new facility.
“This facility has been in the planning for a number of years and it is great to see it now complete and providing a huge amount of enjoyment to our guests,” he says.
The Blue Lake Holiday Park is a great place to getaway in Mount Gambier, spread over 27 lush acres and adorned with landscaped gardens. Its prime location between two crater lakes, with one being the iconic Blue Lake, serves as a serene backdrop for guests.
And while the natural vistas are soul-soothing, the accommodation doesn’t fall short either. Whether you’re leaning towards a luxurious lakeside villa, a cosy family cabin, or a rustic camping experience, this park has got it all, plus, of course, the recent addition of the world-class pool facility.
The Blue Lake Holiday Park is perched elegantly beside the renowned Blue Lake in the Limestone Coast, 4.5 hours South East of Adelaide, a great spot for those wanting to break away from the daily grind, craving a touch of adventure, or simply wanting to dive into a heated indoor pool as the world outside remains comfortably cool.
The Blue Lake Holiday Park has plenty of additional facilities to entertain families, with a jumping pillow, playground, tennis courts, a games room, golf course right next door. And your four-legged friend can also come on the adventure- dogs will love the park with its large grounds, plenty of gardens and paths to go for walks together, with a dog-friendly site area with free doggie bags supplied.
With plenty of spectacular natural wonders, there’s plenty for everyone to see, do and explore in the Limestone Coast. And while you’re there, why not go for a cruise to Penola and Coonawarra, just a half hour drive out of the region? Or if you want to head to the beach, Port MacDonnell is a mere 20 minute drive down the road.
