Langhorne Creek was awash with visitors on the 16th of May, when it hosted it’s annual Langhorne Creek Winemakers Showcase Wine Tasting. The event, which gives the public an opportunity to taste all of the wines entered into the Langhorne Creek Showcase, played host to approximately 250 wine lovers from throughout the state.
Following the success of event , the Langhorne Creek Winemakers’ Association is packing up the wines and taking them to Adelaide to do it all over again.
For the second time, the Langhorne Creek Winemakers Association will stage it’s popular public wine tast‐ ing event on Sunday, July 4 in the Lion Hotel’s ‘Jerningham Room”, North Adelaide, from 1pm until 5pm. Trade is invited to attend from 12pm.
A huge selection of Langhorne Creek’s premium wines will be uncorked and on the table for the public to sample, including the Champion Wine of the Showcase, Lake Breeze’s 2006 Arthur’s Reserve. A number of the region’s winemakers will also be in attendance to answer any particular wine queries about the region or a particular product.
