This thick, pocket-sized book of 50 postcards is a feel-good collection of kind gestures that can be sent to honour special occasions and people in your life.

Artist Mari Andrew is an American writer and illustrator who has put together this set of detachable postcards that feature her own illustrations and words.

The book is divided into five sections: Thank You, Congrats, Birthday, Just Because, and Empathy. Each section contains two copies of five original postcards that are ready to be addressed, stamped and sent.

This is a beautiful and colourful sentimental buy that lives up to his subtitle of Cards for any occasion. Under ‘Thank You’ we find a postcard outlining a gratitude list that includes ‘you’, with the same sentiment expressed in several ways across that section. The ‘Congrats’ section offers Reasons to be Proud and The Only People Worth Impressing, amongst others. ‘Empathy’ focusses on grown, grief and healing.

If for no other reason than to spread happiness, Little Gestures is a fun and heart-warming way to spread love to those you care about. Christmas is our most sentimental time of year so the leadup to it is an ideal time to start sending these messages of compassion.
