Bookings for this year’s highly anticipated season of The Soho Supper Club at Festival Plaza will open at 8pm tonight (Wednesday July 3rd). Running from August 1st to August 25th, this year’s event will offer an extended season to accomodate for a wider guest list, so as many people as possible can enjoy its epic winter dining experiences.
Organised by Out In The Paddock (OITP) in collaboration with Festival Plaza, The Soho Supper Club is known for uniquely bringing together atmosphere, local flavours, and entertainment. Last year’s season charmed guests with a glasshouse marquee and botanical vibe, moody lounge settings, some of the state’s finest local produce, and a little bit of “wow”.
As with all Out in the Paddock events, we expect there will be a unique twist on last year’s offering, but a glimpse at what 2023 brought to the table will help paint the picture of what’s coming. The dining experience catered its food and entertainment to suit different times of the day, and the setting took people to a whole different oasis.
There was a jungle vibe, with a mix of plush lounge settings and booths, a massive installation of botanicals suspended from the roof and beautiful moody lighting at night. An interactive room, specifically for cheese tasting and a curated wine and cocktail list added to the sensational Soho experience.
The menu was focused on local produce, and designed to be shared, with a wide range of simple quality ingredients available as smaller or larger plates, including burrata caprese, natural oysters, baked potato and caviar, steak frites and Sicilian marinated olives.
Entertainment was a mix of relaxed vocals and instrumental, with a “laid-back” DJ vibe going into the evenings.
2023 saw The Soho Supper Club book out quickly, so don’t hold your breath for walk in spots – we strongly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
