Police Commissioner Grant Stevens provided a brief update this morning on South Australia’s current COVID-19 situation with several points of change expected for the state.

All restrictions currently in place with Katherine in the Northern Territory will be lifted, with Stevens also announcing that private gatherings in South Australia will soon see a relaxation in restrictions.

While no specific detail was provided just yet, Stevens said that SA Health will be looking at this very closely over the next few days to make an informed decision in what Stevens said will be a positive change for private gathering restrictions.

This news comes following the recent positive test results of three truck drivers from New South Whales who have since sparked concern in the state with new exposure sites identified.
