Taking place in the recently renovated and luxurious Chinatown Plaza, chefs will be serving up serving up dishes so authentic you’ll be surprised when you walk out and realise you’re still in Adelaide!
You’ve got your safe bets, such dumplings and steamed buns from Shanghai; Sushi and Chilli Chicken Karaage from Japan; and Laksa from Thailand; as well as many more crowd favourites.
For the adventures ones out there, why not branch out and try the Tofu and Preserved Egg Salad with Chives. A traditional childhood favourite and a popular dinner food in China, the salad of tofu, century egg, chives and soy sauce brings you straight into the heart of Chinese cuisine.
This event is appropriate for everyone and anyone wanting to get a taste of what Tasting Australia is all about – the street food inspiration makes it appealing to all ages and tummies. Some dishes may challenge the palate but food will be coming all night so if one dish doesn’t appeal, don’t stress, the next one more than likely will!
In comparison to other Tasting Australia events, STREET – Asian Fusion, is fantastic value. For the ticket price $73.47 (inc’s booking fee), guests will be greeted with a glass of wine on arrival followed by an all you can eat dinner – you can’t get much better for a Saturday night out in the CBD!
