Bowden Brewing and Soi 38 launch limited edition Tom Yum Sour

Two great brands have come together to combine their passions and create an epic new beer inspired by cult Tom Yum cocktail creation.

The recent mugginess has Bowden Brewing daydreaming of escaping again – hunting for good food and booze through Asia with their friends. But as great as it would be to be off gallivanting again, you can’t beat a good local. The only thing they love more than travelling is a cheeky beer collab.

Two great brands have come together to combine their passions and create an epic new beer inspired by their good friends at Soi38 and their cult Tom Yum cocktail creation.

“It’s light, tarty, slightly salty, and extremely refreshing – you’ll get a zing from the lactic acid kettle sour base and a bite from the generous ginger kick. Beautifully sunrise pink with layers of aromatics from lemongrass and kaffir lime, this is a cracking fusion combo with our Masa fare. We think it’ll take you (back) to a place you’d rather be.” Alex Marschall, Co-Owner of Bowden Brewing.

“We love working with different people and brands to collaborate in the brewery. We were pretty excited to be teaming up with Soi 38 to deliver a fresh take on a sour, perfect for summer.” Jake Phoenix, Co-Owner of Bowden Brewing.

In what has been a tough start to the year for all hospitality venues in Adelaide the teams behind the collab are excited to announce they will be celebrating the latest beer collaboration, with a long lunch at Soi 38 on Saturday the 12th of February. This will be your first chance to try the beer/ get your hands on the limited product. It will also be available to buy at Bowden Brewing and selected stockists across Adelaide.

Two long lunch sessions will be held on February 12th one at noon and another at 2:30 pm. For $90pp punters will enjoy a 3-course long lunch, drink on arrival, beer tasting experience ft the Tom Yum Sour and a few of Bowden’s favourites and the chance to be the first to try the limited edition Tom Yum Sour.

“It’s a daunting time for all hospitality venues at the moment, so it’s more important than ever for local businesses to work together, and we are excited to be able to deliver this unique collaboration and event alongside Bowden Brewing and their kitchen Masa.” Oscar Miller, Co-Owner of Soi 38

Bowden Brewing will be bringing their Head Chef Toddy King from the brewery’s kitchen MASA. This spicy kitchen collaboration will showcase exciting new Thai x Mexican fusion dishes utilising the best produce South Australia has to offer.
