Bowden Brewing will bring the music loud and booming, the freshest brews of 2021, and a delicious feed to fuel you over the balmy day.

They’ll be snag tacos by Masa to enjoy and real good times to be had. Masa Adelaide is an untraditional taqueria in the Bowden Brewery warehouse serving up fresh tacos and other Mexican dishes.

There are always delicious new tacos on the menu, with stars in the past including Lamb barbacoal pastor, Cauliflower pakora and Prawn remoulade.

Located at Plant 3 microbrewery, Bowden Brewing is co-owned by head brewers Jake Phoenix and Alex Marschall. They have a focus on craft beer and sourcing seasonal local ingredients.

Jake said the Hottest 100 party is a way to bring some fun into the start of the new year.

“In what has been a tough start to 2022 for all hospitality venues, we were excited to get the good vibes going no matter the circumstance,” Jake said.

“As a brewery we kicked things off in 2021 and it has been an epic journey so far, we are stoked that we could finally get around the GABS hottest 100 list for 2021 with our fresh brews that hit your lips last year, so what better way to celebrate than throw a party, and listen to the great tunes from 2021 thanks to Triple Js Hottest 100 list.”

With the Hottest 100 party kicking off a 11am Bowden Brewing encourage all to get frothy, have some fun and sport your loudest party shirt on the day.

The Hottest 100 is triple j’s annual poll of your favourite songs that have been released each year. A vote is held at the end of every year and then the countdown is played in January a couple of months later.

The Hottest 100 has been held annually since 1989; the day after the Hottest 100, the Hottest 200 countdown is played with tunes that didn’t quite make the cut.

This year however, the hottest 200 will play the day before the Hottest 100, while the Hottest 100 of 2001 will air on Double J.

We can’t wait to see who lands a spot on the Hottest 100 of 2021, and we can’t wait to party about it at Bowden Brewing.

“Join Bowden Brewing on Saturday the 22nd of January from 11am to celebrate the countdown of the best tunes and beer of 2021 at our hottest 100 party – a day dedicated to good tunes and amazing craft beer,” Jake said.

“Let’s have fun, get frothy, dust off your loudest party shirt and get busy.”

Bowden Brewing is located at Plant 3, Fourth Street Bowden.
