Owned and operated by ex-restauranteur of Hubert and current Big Easy Group Executive Chef Harry Bourne—Masa is best-known for serving up Mexican-Done-Different.
“The food is inspired by Mexican street food but utilises ingredients and techniques from the many cultures that contribute to Australia’s amazing food scene,” Executive Chef Harry Bourn says.
The team decided to collaborate with Bowden Brewing after a successful pop-up.
“After popping up in the Bowden Brewing space, it got us thinking about how can we pop up into the homes of the
good people of South Australia? Alas, MASA at Home is born, let our chefs do the hard work for you,” they say.
If you’re in the mood for slow-roasted meat, handmade corn tortillas and garden-fresh fillings but have no time, Masa is the place for you. With a range of tacos kits on offer, each family pack is only going to set you back around $50.00.

1. Pigs Head Taco
Pre Taco Snack: House Made Corn Chips and Guacamole. Included: 6 x Hand Made Tortillas, Pulled Pork Mix, Fermented Tomato Salsa and Pork Crackling. On the Side: Refried Beans, Beef Crudo with Fermented Chipotle, Pickled shallots, Fried Curry Leaves, Coriander and Lime.
2. Sweet Potato Taco
Pre Taco Snack House Made Corn Chips and Guacamole. Included: 6 x Hand Made Tortillas, Sweet Potato, Hazelnut Mole, Feta. On the Side: Refried Beans, 2 x Chargrilled Corn with Black Garlic, Pecorino and Lime.
To help celebrate Masa’s Taco Kits, Bowden Brewing have launched a signature ‘Yuzu Cerveza’ brew to be exclusively served on Friday the 27th of August.
