Call it fate, call it a coincidence, call it whatever you like, just make sure you call into Bowden Brewing for the ultimate Taco Tuesday party to celebrate.
The guys at Bowden Brewing are no strangers to a Taco Tuesday. Their weekly offering has become somewhat of a ritual for many to get their hands on cheap tacos and Mexican-inspired drinks from in-house eatery, MASA.
But with International Taco Day on October 4th falling on a Tuesday, Bowden Brewing is turning things up a notch. Think the regular Taco Tuesdays at Bowden Brewing, but amped up with BIG party vibes. MASA will be doing their thing serving up untraditional Mexican fare with taco combinations that you never knew you needed.
There will be taco specials, marg specials, a bar takeover from their friends at Man of Spirits, and a limited-edition Tequila Cerveza release beer.
“The idea behind the brew was pulling together the best things from Mexico for International Taco Day. This has us blending two different types of Mexico’s best Mezcal paired with a lime-infused Mexican lager,” says Bowden Brewings Head Brewer, Jake Phoenix.
“The beer has a clear corn Lager base with subtle smokey herbaceous notes from the Mezcal and hint of fresh lime zest to finish.”
Good friend of Bowden Brewing and the Man of Spirits himself, Mark ‘Reg’ Regginato, will be taking over the bar, bringing his expertise and originality that comes from years of running spirit and wine distribution here in Adelaide.
Working hard behind the scenes, Reg has created a spicy tequila lineup to pump out from the Bowden Brewing Mezzanine bar while tacos are flying hot off the tortilla press downstairs.
Kicking off from 4pm, if you like tacos, tequila or Tuesdays, you won’t want to miss this.
