Bowden Brewing have stepped-in to help their friends at The Lost Loaf out by sharing the load with a liquid alternative, introducing ‘All Things Nice’ Hot Cross Buns Brown Ale.
Brewers Alex and Jake from Bowden Brewing haven’t gone hopping mad with this one, All Things Nice is a malt-forward English-style brown ale with added dried fig, apricot, sultana and all of the spices that make The Lost Loaf’s Hot Cross Buns so delicious.
This beer is guaranteed to get you through whatever the long weekend throws at you, including having to dress up as a bunny to hide eggs for your siblings and cousins.
“After a great success last year with our limited easter brew, it was a no brainer to re-release this delicious brew with one of SA’s best bakeries,” said Alex Marschall, Co-owner of Bowden Brewing.
“Emma from Lost Loaf highlighted what a huge effort Bakers put in at Easter time to keep up with Hot Cross Bun supply; so we have done our best again to lend a hand and create a liquid alternative with a decent kick (6.5%abv) to help get you through a long weekend with the extended family.”
“None of the individual flavours are overpowering, you can expect a sweet doughy base with underlying hints of dried fig, apricot and sultanas and subtle hints of allspice and cinnamon.”
