Bowden’s newest Asian-fusion brunch spot Bobibao debuts new banquet dinner series

Taking place on December 22, Bobibao will host a Bobi Banquet for the ages. The 6-course meal will take you through a range of flavours, styles and textures.

Bowden’s newest Asian-fusion brunch spot has just launched a new dining series that will seriously rival any that you’ve sampled previously.

Bobibao has only just announced the introduction of what they like to call a ‘Bobi Banquet’. The new Banquet series will take place weekly showcasing a feed-me-style menu with every Banquet showcasing a different theme or flavour combination.

What makes Bobibao so special is its ability to incorporate refined flavours from classic Asian dishes with more experimental styles of presentation and flavour combinations.

Taking place on December 22, Bobibao will host a Bobi Banquet for the ages. The 6-course meal will take you through a range of flavours, styles and textures.

Bobi Banquet December 22 Menu:

Free range pork and cabbage dumplings

with Chilli oil and soy vinegar sauce

Garlic Prawn san choy bao

with Cashew and green papaya

Chicken Popiah

with Fresh spring roll, peanut crumbles, coriander

Yuzu Beef Tataki

with Yuzu and lime soy dressing, baby daikon

Teppanyaki Fried Rice

with Taiwanese sausage, salty egg yolk

Amaretto Chocolate Mousse

with House-made almond biscuit

However, the Bobibao Banquet series isn’t the only draw card to the new brunch spot.

Bobibao is an ode to all the things that owners Joseph and Emma Del Bono love, authentic food with a modern twist, a great and welcoming atmosphere as well as kind faces to greet you at the door.

Bobi meaning ‘blessing’ in Taiwanese, and ‘bao’ symbolising inclusion and togetherness, those sentiments paints a picture of the eatery’s appeal.

At Bobibao, you will find the main menu bustling with delicious day time options. If you feel so obliged, you may want to order (our personal favourite), the ‘Chicken Waffle’ featuring crispy fried chicken, filled with mashed potato, crispy pancetta, poached egg and a citrus maple glaze.

The Bobibao team have hinted at doing a plant-based banquet in the future to make sure no dietaries are left out.
