Boyzlife, the inter-band alliance between former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and ex-Boyzone star Keith Duffy, has announced a major tour of Australia and New Zealand set for 2025. The tour promises an evening filled with chart-topping hits from the iconic 1990s and 2000s, including famous tracks such as “My Love,” “World of Our Own,” and “Swear It Again” from Westlife, along with “Picture of You,” “No Matter What,” and “Words” from Boyzone.
The tour will kick off in Melbourne at the Forum on Thursday, April 3, and will take the band across the country to Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Penrith, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, with the tour wrapping up in Perth on Sunday, April 13.
Tickets for the tour will be for sale from Thursday, August 1, through David Roy Williams Entertainment.
Reflecting on the evolution of Boyzlife, Keith Duffy shared insights into the initial concept behind the group. “The whole concept of the band at the start was that we wanted to do an autobiographical show,” he said. “We wanted to tell our life experiences through the music rather than write in a book. So we created Boyzlife! Now our collaboration brings together the nostalgic appeal of Boyzone and Westlife, together with an amazing live show.”
Both Duffy and McFadden have enjoyed huge success in their careers, with a combined total of over 55 million record sales globally and 17 Number One singles in the UK alone. Their story is not only about music but also about the experiences and memories they have created along the way.
Boyzlife has continued to captivate audiences worldwide, featuring new music and untold stories, enhancing their performances that attract thousands of spectators. Describing their current shows, Duffy expressed excitement about the production quality. “We have a full live band behind us. We’ve got all the bells and whistles: pyro, special effects… we’ve even still got some of the moves! It’s pure fun,” he commented.
Brian McFadden highlights the emotional connection they aim to establish with their audiences through their performances. “We’re just hoping that the memories and melodies will give you a bit of enjoyment and that people will sing along. Hopefully, it will put a smile on people’s faces. We’re just trying to make people happy again,” he remarked.
The upcoming tour is not just a trip down memory lane but also an opportunity for fans to experience the powerful live performances that Boyzlife is renowned for.
