SA charity, Youth Opportunities, is set to launch a new fundraising campaign, The Make-or-Break Challenge, a challenge that is set to break boundaries and change the lives of many.
The Make-or-break Challenge is presented by National Pharmacies in support of helping more young people in the community to thrive.
For 21-days, from the 1st of May 2023, the SA community will join the challenge by making a good habit, or breaking a bad one, while seeking donations from their friends, family, and colleagues to achieve their goal.
National Pharmacies has signed on as the Presenting Partner as they too are committed to caring for people, enabling health and inspiring wellness.
They are joined by several high-profile South Australian identities such as Jane Doyle OAM, Chris Dittmar, and Rebecca Morse who are all signing on as Challenge Ambassadors for the inaugural campaign.
“Resilience, persistence, courage and self-confidence are such important skills to develop at a young age. The Youth Opportunities Personal Leadership Programs have a proven track record in this area so I’m really proud to be involved,” said Campaign Ambassador Bec Morse.
Challenge participants may be making small changes to their lives but will be making a big impact on the lives of our disadvantaged youth as every $1,000 raised during the campaign ensures Youth Opportunities life-changing Personal Leadership Programs can be provided to our young people who need them most.
It takes 21-days to kick-start a habit and 66 days to make it stick so why not start now?
Erin Faehrmann, Chief Executive of Youth Opportunities, is passionate about reaching more young people to support them at crucial times in their lives.
“For more than 25 years we have changed the lives of over 16,000 young people right across Australia as they built better habits and took positive control of their future. But we must do more, and that is why we are launching the Make-or-Break Challenge.”
The campaign will launch on 21 April at PwC where the ambassadors and young graduates of Youth Opportunities Personal Leadership Programs are set to share their stories.
When: For 21 days from May 1st.
