Landough’s, a favourite doughnut shop in Brighton, has introduced an exciting new addition to their menu: sandwiches! Branded as Landough’s Sando’s, the popular spot will now offer both doughnuts and sandwiches, all under one roof.
Only opening earlier this year, Landough’s became an instant hit amongst all Jetty Road goers. They specialise in making fun and imaginative doughnuts with flavours like Maple Bacon, Dulche De Leche and Caramel Apple, as well as serving a range of other pastries and coffees. The donuts popularity changes each week, but Owner Joshua Rivers says its hard to go past the Biscoff Ring and the Pistachio Puppy filled donut that is pretty much always guaranteed to sell out.
The addition of sandwiches to Landough’s was announced earlier this week in facebook post by Joshua. The sandwiches that were announced are: Nan’s Crumbed Chicken, Hot Tuna Melt, Big Brekky Slabwich, Italian Chopped Salad, Mortadella On Turkish and Vegan Miso Mushroom. Aswell as a new meal deal that includes one sandwich, one doughtnut and one large coffee for $26.

When asked why he wanted to create a sandwich menu for Landough’s Josh said:
“Landough’s was always conceived like that. It made sense to do something else to couple with doughnuts.”
The doughnut shop, owned by Joshua and his wife Chimere Rivers (the owners of C.R.E.A.M, Remy’s Deep Dish Pizza and Bar and Diamond Burger), have ensured that Landough’s stayed true to its cheeky nature throughout its time open. The name Landough’s is play on words of Chimere and Joshua’s son’s name. “Everything I’ve done over the years… has always been for him,” Joshua says.
The vibrant pink that covers the interior of Landough’s perfectly reflects the nature of the food. Sweet and playful, Landough’s continues to re-invent themselves in the best way possible.
