Brighton beach is beautiful. And it’s about to get even better, with the return of the Brighton Jetty Sculptures.
Volunteers from the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club will be running the popular Brighton Jetty Sculptures again this year to raise money for the club and to aid in keeping local beaches safe.
Set to draw ample crowds over the eleven day period, this is one of the most popular attractions in the area and a celebration of local artists that you won’t want to miss. After 16 years of this popular event showcasing local artists, this year is set to break new records with 250 entries, all local people who have come to share their talents with the community.

With plenty to see, there will be 170 incredible indoor displays open to everyone as well as 80 outdoor sculptures to stun event goers as well as passerbyers 24 hours a day throughout the duration of this event.
The wonderful members of the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club, inspired by an exhibition that happened around the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club in Perth, decided to take initiative and support local artists in the area by creating a space where their hard work can be admired and appreciated by all.

Supporting the local community is incredibly important and something that Australians pride themselves on being able to do, this event brings together 8,000 to 10,000 visitors per day with these numbers set to grow this year. This popular event has won the City of Holdfast Bay Australia Day Award.
These incredible pieces will be available to be purchased during the event at the sales marquee on Bindarra Reserve, corner Esplanade and Bindarra Road, Brighton.
If you’re interested in being a part of this event, everyone is welcome to volunteer via the volunteer page on the Brighton Jetty Sculptures page.
