The newly renovated pub is hosting a glorious Garden Party to celebrate Melbourne Cup on November 2. It’s time to pull out your fanciest outfit and get ready to watch the races in their brand-new bistro.
The Garden Party will be their first of its kind in the new space and offer all the Melbourne Cup Day essentials. There will be bubbles, a great feed and, of course, the races live and loud.
Melbourne Cup will be aired on their big screens across the bistro and sports bar to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
There will be sweeps throughout the day for guests to bet on as well as prizes for best dressed, so be sure to sport your best frock or suit.
Live music will play throughout the day to enjoy while sipping your champagne and enjoying the buffet feast.
Early bird tickets are $59 for adults and include the buffet with $25 tickets for children.
The Brighton Metro Hotel had a massive $2.6 million renovation earlier in the year. It included a total overhaul of the sports bar, buffet, kids play area and gaming room, as well as the addition of a new beer garden.
The venue has still retained its classic pub feel but guests are able to enjoy the fresh modern look and fun, vibrant atmosphere.
The renovation came with a new buffet menu full of fresh, healthy and delicious options, catering to a range of diets, with lots of vegetarian, gluten free and vegan choices.
The buffet will include bakery items, a fresh and delicious salad bar, charcuterie station, pasta bar, pizzas, carvery station, Asian dishes, a grill with six dishes each service, kids dishes, a dessert bar with eight desserts available every day and lolly station and ice cream bar.
There will be four sittings available on the day from 11am-12:30pm. Bookings are essential for the Brighton Metro Hotel’s Melbourne Cup Day Party so book in early to secure your spot!
