Brrr its cold in here! Record low felt across the state

It’s chilly in Adelaide with Winter delivering cold temperatures that are being felt across the state.

If you’re shaking in your boots today we don’t blame you, baby it’s cold outside!

Adelaide hasn’t seen a cold snap like this in over 10 months and we can tell you what, we definitely haven’t missed it.

Adelaide has recorded its coldest day of the year with the northern suburbs shivering to 2C, Adelaide Airport dropping to 2.9C and the CBD recording a reading of 3.7C.

Brace yourself Adelaide for light showers on Wednesday evening and continuing into Thursday morning.

Fog covered parts of Eyre Peninsula, Murraylands, Upper South East and Murray River this morning.

The following days will prove to be chilly, with wet weather expected to hit Adelaide tonight.

The dry weather has brought the colder temperatures, with June recording heavy rain and destructive storms keeping State Emergency Service crews busy.
