Bubble Me Bubble Tea isn’t your average bubble tea shop, having already taken Adelaide’s south by storm with their Morphett Vale location, they’re gearing up to bring their unique and bubbly flair to Prospect with a new store.
The new store will have the same fun vibe that has made Bubble Me Bubble Tea a local favourite. The family-owned business started with humble beginnings during COVID, selling bubble tea from a trailer parked in front of their house. They were pretty much the first bubble tea traders in the southern area, dishing out drinks from their home every weekend.
The journey didn’t stop there. As the demand grew, Bubble Me Bubble Tea took their wonderful creations on the road, setting up their trailer at community events. Their larger trailer soon became a familiar sight at major events like WOMADelaide, the Royal Adelaide Show, and Christmas Carols.
In just a few years, they opened their first official store in Morphett Vale, and now they’re expanding with a second location in Prospect.
Bubble Me Bubble Tea isn’t just about the classic bubble tea offerings – though they’ve got those covered too. From refreshing fruit teas to creamy milk teas, their menu is a dream. What really sets this business apart is their unique signature drinks.
Have you ever tried a caramel custard creme brulee bubble tea, or a Movaltine frappe (which is milo and ovaltine tea with condensed milk)?
How about a Lychee, Orange, and Lemon blend?
That’s the type of drinks they’ve got!
Bubble Me Bubble Tea even features a ‘drink of the month’ that’s more like a dessert experience, with past hits including a Lebanese-inspired blood orange and rose water tea that was a fan favourite.
“Most of our drinks you won’t find at other bubble tea stores,” Co-Owner Diana says. “Through lots of trial and error, we’ve made up our own drinks.”
Bubble Me Bubble Tea is all about customisation. If customers want to mix lychee with lemon, or combine strawberry, lychee, and Red Bull into a frozen concoction, all they have to do is ask.
The team is all about making flavours dreams come true, with 15 toppings and add-ins, including popping candy for that extra zing.
“You’re able to fully customise any drink or any flavour on our menu at any time. We add all the fun,” Co-Owner Mohamed says.
At their new Prospect store, Bubble Me Bubble Tea will also be offering Japanese soft serve ice cream. Customers will get to choose from flavours like vanilla, matcha, taro, and chocolate, and enjoy classic cones, sundaes, and even Japanese soft serve thickshakes.
“People love our bubble tea because it’s fun and there’s a little bit of silliness in the cup, ” Mohamed says. “You can create exactly what you want, and have some fun with it.”
