Burnside Village prepares to open the first stage of its landmark expansion on 29 May with several flagship retailers confirmed to be part of the grand launch.
Australian luxury fashion brand CAMILLA will unveil a new immersive boutique experience, complete with a sit-in train carriage and digital travelogues that bring the label’s signature storytelling to life.
Coco Republic will open its first and only South Australian store, spanning more than 1500 square metres and featuring not only premium furniture and interior design but also the stylish L’Americano café.
Beauty lovers will be treated to MECCA’s largest South Australian location yet, a two-storey flagship offering over 950 square metres of luxury skincare and beauty, with interactive spaces including treatment beds, the Carousel Playbar and the Beauty Lab.
These high-profile openings signal a major step forward in redefining the retail experience in Adelaide’s east, with more premium retailers to follow throughout the year as the remainder of the development is unveiled.
For the first time, international icons including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Paspaley will take permanent residence in Adelaide at the centre down the track. These aren’t fleeting pop-ups or seasonal experiments—they’re flagship stores anchoring a precinct designed to offer a refined, curated experience of understated luxury. Iconic Tiffany & Co will also be joining the mix.

“Adelaide is not a huge market for these brands, so we’ve had to evidence to them that Adelaide is ready, elevated, and prepared to open a luxury precinct like Burnside Village,” said Andrew Cohen, Director of Burnside Village and the Cohen Group of Companies.
Equally considered are the Australian labels. Aje, the acclaimed brand from Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest, will open its second standalone boutique in the city.
Nude Lucy will bring a new concept store focused on refined essentials and clean lines.

Stylerunner and LSKD will enhance the activewear offering, in step with the sport-luxe lifestyle of the eastern suburbs.
In total, over 80 retailers will eventually join the new precinct.
Seafolly, ECCO, Kivari, Elka Collective, Le Creuset, July, Zara, and JB Hi-Fi all add breadth to the offering.
Food is central to the new precinct. Project G2 Italian, a new venture from the team behind G2, will serve an all-day menu in a sleek, architecturally considered space. Zambrero returns with a refreshed look and broader offering.

“The reason this big brands are working with us is because we can manage every customer touchpoint in the whole centre—from the amenity, the parking, the free undercover parking with fancy new lights. Every touchpoint is designed, managed and approved by us,” Cohen said.
That precision set the tone for the development from day one.
“The advice we got early on was that we weren’t thinking big enough. Managing a luxury customer experience is about more than space—it’s about experience at every level. It’s been a privilege to rise to their standards,” he added.
And this is just the beginning. Additional stages will roll out across the year, with each element—architecture, tenancy, design—carefully curated to build on the vision.
