Byrne Vineyards is unveiling a fresh new look for its 2025 releases, reflecting the family’s deep commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and a greener future. The new label is more than just a design update; it symbolises the family’s dedication to protecting local ecosystems and embracing environmentally responsible winemaking practices. This rebrand showcases their continued efforts to care for the land that has supported them for over six decades.

As pioneers in the Riverland’s wine industry, Byrne Vineyards is reshaping perceptions of the region’s wines and what it means to craft exceptional wine. This commitment is reflected in their new label, Byrne Family Australia, which embodies their ethos of quality and sustainability. Since 2014, the winery has also embraced vegan winemaking, appealing to a younger, socially conscious audience that values both ethical practices and outstanding quality.

With more than 60 years of family history in the Riverland, the Byrne family understands the importance of caring for the land that has contributed to their success. They are particularly focused on preserving the natural environment at their Scotts Creek Vineyard, located in one of South Australia’s largest natural wetland areas. This unique location is home to over 73 species of native plants and animals, many of which are rare or endangered. The Byrne family’s commitment to nuturing the environment is reflected in the vineyard which produces the wines for this range.

The changes in the vineyard are redefining the wines produced at Byrne Vineyards, with a diverse range that reflects their commitment to innovation and quality. The collection includes sparkling wines, a classic Chardonnay, to the more unconventional dry Zibibbo. For red wine, there’s a range of options, including the popular vine-dried Shiraz, uniquely dried on the vine to enhance its depth of flavour and spice. They also craft a traditional blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre, showcasing the rich, full-bodied characteristics the region is known for.

Byrne Vineyards is moving forward with a renewed vision while staying grounded in the values that have made them a trusted name in the Riverland for decades. From the banks of their property at Morgan, on the River Murray, where biodiversity thrives, Byrne Vineyards is proud to be a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. Their logo on the new Byrne Vineyards Australia range reflects this commitment, showcasing the land on which their vineyard resides, with the Murray River flowing through the centre.

With the introduction of their new label, Byrne Family Australia, the family is embracing the next chapter of their journey – crafting wines for a new generation of wine drinkers who value quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. This new direction reflects their progress while staying true to their heritage, along with proving that winemaking can be both innovative and responsible, and that a commitment to sustainability can be a driving force in the evolution of the industry.
