Winners of Best Seafood Restaurant, South Australia, in the South Australian Restaurant & Catering Awards, Hortas, are over the moon to have taken out this prestigious accolade for the third time.
The team were awarded silver for Best Seafood Restaurant in Australia at the National Awards in October.
Located on the beach front in Port Noarlunga, Hortas has once again affirmed that their signature Portugese influence is the perfect pairing when it comes to serving up the best seafood.
Last year, the award winning team unveiled Cabana Club, giving South Australians an opportunity to experience the famous Mediterranean beach club atmosphere (minus the jetlag)!
Cabana Club was such a hit last year with locals and tourists to the area, that the restaurateurs had no reservations about bringing it back again for this Summer; along with the welcome addition of Cabana Beach.
Cabana Beach is a concept unlike anything the midcoast has experienced before; it will give patrons the opportunity to rent a daybed and enjoy food and beverage service right there on the sand.
Cabana Beach will be open as of Saturday November 2 and running each Saturday & Sunday of November, weather permitting.
This year, Cabana Club will run from December 20, for 37 days.
Following on from last year, it will be a vibrant hub for beachside food and drink; boasting a range of South Australian beer and wine, along with specialty craft cocktails (including the must have Cabana Colada).
The food offering continues to take cues from Filipe’s Portuguese heritage; all of which can be savoured over uninterrupted views of the beach.
This year, Cabana Club will introduce more live music, ensuring that revelers can make the most of the beach club surroundings.
