The high energy of the performance was truly exhilarating

It was raining cats and dogs outside, but in the foyer of the Space Theatre, glitter was raining down on all those who had wine in one hand and tickets in the other! The ladies who created the glitter masterpieces, with their intricate designs and vibrant colours, offered to add a slight shimmer to my shine, and I couldn’t resist.
As we stepped into the Space Theatre, the air was charged with anticipation, a palpable energy that was impossible to ignore. The sight of tables stretching into the distance only heightened the excitement. The performers, with their engaging acts and interactive approach, ensured that we were not just spectators but active participants in the show.
As we settled in, our eyes and souls were transported to a world of incandescent pink, beautifully adorned by Seann Miley Moore. Brendan De la Hay‘s ‘green, green must always be seen’ was equally captivating. The ladies were a vision of beauty, and I blinked in disbelief at the size of Brendan’s heels!
I could not keep my eyes off their musical director, Benjamin Kiehne, who skillfully guided the performance from the piano, setting the tone and pace with each note. It was like the audience got a peek behind the stage. The band, Seann, Brendan, and musical director Benjamin Kiehne ensured that those who ventured out in the current horrid weather were treated to a lavish and polished show. Credit should also go to Tired Ass Showgirls’ writer and director, Jared Jekyll.
You will want to sing along to many well-known songs in the show as they transport you away from the reality outside the theatre. I was utterly captivated by the two bright stars on stage.
The high energy of the performance was truly exhilarating. The gorgeous costumes, flawless singing, and stunning makeup were a sight to behold. I found myself wishing I could wear such attire every day. And those heels! How did they not only move but also dance in them, maintaining such a high energy level throughout the show?
Tonight is the last show in Adelaide. I’m sorry if you missed it.
