CABN, Australia’s leading off-grid nature tourism operator, offers an oasis of tranquility amidst the rolling vineyards of McLaren Vale. Now, with the unveiling of four new cabins – Melissa, Georgia, Jude, and Matilda – visitors have even more reason to escape to this picture perfect corner of South Australia.

These cabins allow guests to unwind and embrace a digital detox against the backdrop of one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions. With a total of 11 cabins spread across three distinct sites in McLaren Vale, CABN provides an intimate yet immersive experience in nature.

Melissa, the newest addition to the CABN family, presents a fresh configuration tailored to accommodate families and small groups. Featuring a spacious queen bed complemented by a set of bunk beds, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom facilities, and creature comforts like a fridge, cooktop, and coffee machine, guests can immerse themselves in rustic luxury while reconnecting with the natural world.

According to CABN Founder Michael Lamprell, McLaren Vale’s allure as a sought-after destination made their decision a no brainer to expand their footprint in the region.

“Given its popularity, we wanted to offer more people the opportunity to experience this incredible destination and take time to disconnect,” Michael said. “The vineyard location is an expansive natural retreat, so it made perfect sense to increase our light footprint accommodation here, and we can now offer stays for up to 22 people per night across our three sites.”

The expansion of CABN’s presence in McLaren Vale, alongside the forthcoming CABN Hahndorf site in August, brings the total number of cabins across South Australia to 39. Since its establishment in 2017, CABN has redefined off-grid, self-contained accommodation, championing regenerative travel and holistic nature-based escapes.

Beyond solo retreats, CABN’s new offerings cater to corporate wellness retreats and team-building experiences, echoing the success of their Seppeltsfield site. With catering facilities nearby, group bookings can indulge in tailored experiences designed to foster camaraderie and rejuvenation.

Whether guests opt for the opulent CABN X experience, enjoying either indoor or outdoor baths and an in-cabin sauna, or the minimalist CABN retreat immersed in nature, each cabin promises an unforgettable escape.
