CABN unveils first luxury cabins in McLaren Vale

Much-loved accommodation company CABN has announced its commitment to regenerative travel with the unveiling of its first luxury cabins in McLaren Vale.

Australia’s leading off-grid self-contained accommodation company, CABN, has announced its commitment to regenerative travel with the unveiling of its first luxury cabins in McLaren Vale.

The two new architecturally designed nature escapes, standing eleven feet high with floor to ceiling glass walls, are set privately on acres of untouched native Australian bushland and offer guests views across rows of vines through to the coast of Port Willunga.

Both cabins are fitted with a king-sized bed, bathroom with bath and sauna, lounge space with a log fire and hand-picked furnishings, a high-end Weber kitchen and sunken bath on the deck.

CABN Founder Michael Lamprell said the two luxury cabins marked an important milestone for the CABN business.

“We are incredibly proud and excited to launch our stunning luxury cabins. It’s our first foray into the luxury travel market, and we know our new cabins, coupled with their incredible nature setting, will offer guests one the best wellbeing experiences in Australia,” said Michael.

“Giles and William have been designed to provide the ultimate nature retreat for high-end travellers. Our guests can take in the quiet natural surrounds while they lie in bed or sit by the log fire, or they can enjoy the outdoor sunken bath and marvel at large historic gum trees overhead. It’s all about premium comforts while they unplug and connect with nature.”

“We’ve also taken this opportunity to build on the sustainable and cultural aspects of our business. We’ve set up a Conservation Trust that dedicates a percentage of income to support land use and local communities. Through this trust we’ve become a sponsor of Trees For Life, and with each CABN X stay we’ll be contributing to the creation of native bushland for plants and wildlife with the Trees For Habitat program.”

“And to celebrate and honour our nation’s Indigenous culture and history, we are excited to incorporate Indigenous story telling of the local Fleurieu region as part of the CABN experience.

“We’re really pleased with the whole new CABN experience we have created. We want to promote the incredible physical and mental health benefits nature brings, and, share our history and culture and give back to this great land.”

Giles and William are located on a private area of the Gemtree Winery property with a bio dynamic and organic vineyard. Gemtree’s wines are provided to guests along with premium produce from across the peninsula including Paris Creek milk and butter and a selection of organic meats from the local McLaren Flat butcher.

Cultural and ecological tours are provided in collaboration with Gemtree Wines and are available by appointment. Giles and William are available for booking now from $595 per night.
