I have to admit, we would have never have picked this trend taking off, but we are not mad about it whatsoever. The combination of alcohol and chocolate is something that has changed the cocktail game forever.
High class, expensive and (at times alienating) cocktails have dominated the liquor industry and we are tired. The affordable revolution is coming and we are looking at you cocktail menu’s. For too long it has been a compromise of a an espresso martini with a vodka lime soda. But those day’s are done, we want gourmet cocktails at a price we’re happy with and at a location where we can get away with wearing a graphic tee.
Those prayers have been answered with our locals facilitating our wishes with a new martini on the block.
This time we are focusing on the Tower Hotel who have just brought out a $16 Cadbury’s Creme Egg Martini just in time for Easter.
This creamy treat is not for those that can’t handle a sugar hit. Made with Absolute Vanilla, Mozart White Chocolate and Creme De Cacao with a chocolate rim and mini creme egg garnish, there is no doubt that you’ll pass up another round.
There is no news on how long this offering will be around for, so don’t miss out and regret the wonderful hangover that will happen as a result of these wonderful martinis.
