Café De Vili’s, a household name synonymous with delectable bakery goods, has unveiled its grandest venture yet. The doors of its latest and largest café in Hillcrest officially opened this week, offering an array of round-the-clock food options.
And that’s not all – the icing on top is in the form of a 24/7 drive-through, set to open its lanes in just a month’s time.
Situated in an area brimming with residential and commercial activity, Café De Vili’s newest establishment will provide a new experience for the community.
“Everyone in the area is really excited – including us,” proud co-owner Brenton says. “The feedback so far has been that business’ and the residential community are excited to have a 24/7 shop in the area.”
Not just a café, it caters to all appetites and cravings. “The café is open and it’s our full offer, with breakfast, lunches, and dinners available all day and night,” Brenton says.
You can get everything from the brand’s sprinkled donuts, to its revered meat pies, to hearty meals like schnitzels and spaghetti.
With a sprawling capacity to accommodate around 170 patrons, this Café De Vili’s venture stands tall as the biggest of its kind. “It’s the BIGGEST Café De Vili’s to be built yet,” Brenton says. This establishment encompasses both indoor and outdoor dining areas, spanning nearly 400sqm.
The journey of Café De Vili’s, however, is deeply rooted in passion, hard work, and a profound connection to the brand. Brenton’s journey from working the night shift on the factory floor to becoming a National Sales Manager is a testament to his dedication.
Having been with the Vili’s brand for over 25 years, his journey is a tale of growth and commitment. “We’ve been involved with the Vili’s brand for the last 25 years,” he explains, “I’ve worked there since 1997, started in the bakery, then became sales manager, and then I went out on my own and became a franchisee with my own store in Blair Athol,” Brenton says.
This new venture is more than just a café; it’s a celebration of Vili’s legacy. After Vili’s sadly passed away in 2021, the team at Café De Vili’s are always working hard to continue his legacy of giving back to the community and providing quality bakery goods across the state and country.
The new Café De Vili’s not only promises an extensive menu available 24/7, perfect for shift workers and late-night munchies, but it also boasts a fully licensed bar to complement the culinary offerings.
