The Riverland Wine & Food Festival Returns For Another Epic Year

Set in the unique, stunning environment on the bank of the mighty Murray River at Berri, this food and wine festival is coming back for another epic year.

The Riverland Wine & Food Festival is back on the beautiful Berri Riverfront in 2019 – and tickets are on sale now!

The RWFF is one of South Australia’s most iconic festivals, celebrating the Riverland’s rich wine and food culture.

Off the back of a ‘sell-out’ event last year this year’s event, slated in October, is promised as bigger and better!

Set in the unique, stunning environment on the bank of the mighty Murray River at Berri and shaded by huge riverside trees, this food and wine festival is an opportunity to bring the community together to enjoy the things that make the region so great.

Held on Saturday 12 October from 12pm until 6pm, it highlights local wine, beer, cider, sangria and delicious food accompanied by live entertainment and an incredible atmosphere all in one place.

The Riverland wine and produce that will be available includes Salena Estate Wines, 23rd St Distillery and Woolshed Brewery, as well as Fossey’s Gin, Pete’s Mobile Woodfired Pizzas, El Gringos Mexican, Sugarcoated Desserts and much more.

All About Her are back to perform at this year’s event, setting the scene and creating the cool vibes to kick your afternoon off to a great start. Then from 3pm, get ready to party as Festival favourite, DJ Jaki J returns with his massively popular ‘Back to the Future’ set to keep you dancing until 6pm.

While popular with the locals, the event also attracts many other visitors including those from Adelaide, other regional areas and even interstate goers.

Not only does the festival deliver the community with a fun event, but it also provides the region with economic benefits, injecting around $1 million into the local economy each year whilst also promoting the Riverland brand.

Off the back of a sell-out event last year, tickets are encouraged to be purchased as quick as possible to avoid disappointment.

Tickets cost $30.00 (plus a booking fee) or $40.00 on the day at the gate and are available to be purchased here.

The festival has also partnered up with the Riverland Councils who are providing free bus transport to and from the event for those around the area. For more information on this visit www.riverlandwineandfood.com/bus-time-table/.

The Riverland Wine & Food Festival will be held on the Berri riverfront along the Murray River on October 12 and runs from 12 noon until 6pm.
