Christmas

Calling all adrenaline junkies, Tree Climb is the Ultimate summer thrill

Canopy surfing at TreeClimb is one of South Australia’s most thrilling hidden gems nestled within the Southern Park Lands of the Adelaide City fringe.

Adrenaline junkies, you’re going to want to add this to your Christmas wish list!

Canopy surfing at TreeClimb is one of South Australia’s most thrilling hidden gems nestled within the Southern Park Lands of the Adelaide City fringe.

Based amongst the trees on the corner of Greenhill Road and Unley Road, right next to the BMX park, you’ll find the adventurers’ haven –  TreeClimb Adelaide!

The course you climb is determined by your height. TreeClimbs Kid’s Course is for the little ones, 100cm or taller. Adults don’t climb this one, however, they can follow along and encourage from the ground. For the climbers 135cm or taller, the Grand Course is for you.

There are 8 elevated treetop courses with varying levels of difficulty, 5 of those make up the Grand Course and the other 3 make up the Kids Course.

Within the 8 courses, there are over 70 obstacles! Incorporating everyone’s favourite – ZIPLINES – alongside ladders, log-walks, Tarzan swings, rock climbing and much more. The adventure park has something for all ages, fitness levels and acrophobes.

Below the ropes is a very family-friendly park with plenty of space for you to bring some extra activities, picnic rugs and whatever else you need to keep those who aren’t climbing entertained. You might say, a prime spot for a get-together.

There is also an EcoHut, this is where you check-in, do your safety training – and it also houses a cafe! The perfect place to refuel after your treetop adventures, or to base yourself safely on the ground, while you watch the kids doing the course.

Another fantastic thing about TreeClimb, the park is entirely focused on being environmentally sustainable, so there won’t be a carbon footprint left behind. We love our natural spaces in Adelaide so it’s fantastic to hear that this activity hub won’t be having a negative impact.

Whilst all of that sounds great we haven’t even gotten to the best part! Four-legged friends are welcome at TreeClimb as long as they are kept on a leash. An extra bonus is TreeClimb welcomes B.Y.O so you can pack whatever you need from home to eat, drink and celebrate your success.  – But FYI The City of Adelaide’s has made Part 20 a DryZone so leave the alcohol at home.

With Christmas around the corner and our ever-growing desire for technology, a TreeClimb Gift Card is an invaluable present for the adventure goers in your life AND the perfect size for a stocking filler.

To give the memorable experience of surfing Adelaide’s treescapes only takes thirty seconds. Gift Cards are available to purchase on TreeClimbs website and are valid for three years, which is perfect considering the uncertainty of borders opening and closing.

Since 2018 TreeClimb in the Adelaide Parklands has welcomed over 175,000 adventurers through the treetops, and the story is only set to continue by the addition of the exciting new Kuitpo Forest venue.

The attraction is set to bring an expected 40,000 people to TreeClimb and the broader Kuitpo and Mt Lofty region, in addition to employing 50 full and part-time employees from the local community.

TreeClimb is located in Park 20 Cnr. Greenhill and Unley Road, Kurrangga Park, Adelaide City Park Lands.

Throughout the school holidays TreeClimb will run the Grand Course every 20 minutes from 9 am – 6 pm and the Kids Course every 40 minutes from 9 am – 5:40 pm

You can purchase TreeClimb gift cards here.
