A role call is out for the natural performers and chatty kids out there. One of Adelaide’s favourite community radio stations, Fresh 92.7 wants you.
If your child has the gift of the gab, then perhaps radio is in their future. Fresh 92.7 is on the lookout for future stars to read the weather every Friday morning.
Kicking off the initiative at the end of April, registrations are open to apply for kids to be given a chance to add their own little bit of sunshine every Friday morning weather report.
We all know the kids that are bright and bold, the ones that are born for the stage. The ones that you know if you stick a microphone in their hand, they can carry a whole show. While most of us are shying away from public speaking, these natural-born performers are taking the limelight.
That sort of flair should be nurtured, so why not give them an opportunity to showcase their talents?
The opportunity is open to all kids 4-10 years old, so if your little one has what it takes, then sign them up for this incredible experience.
If selected, the up-and-coming broadcast superstars will take on the role of the Friday weather reporter. They will be given the chance to join Fresh’s experienced news team, go into the studio and hang out with the Fresh gang and of course, hear themselves being broadcast across South Australia.
Fresh 92.7 has been a huge part of the culture of Adelaide for years, giving youth and young talent a place to shine. Giving back to the community is the essence of community radio, so you can be sure that your kid makes it onto the air, they will be given a safe and supportive place to shine.
If you think your kid has what it takes, then head to the Fresh 92.7 website to register them today.
