The Bupa mini tour for kids is part of the Santos Tour Down Under and will take place on Sunday 25 January 2015.
All eyes will be on the start/finish straight of the Be Safe Be Seen MAC Stage 6 street circuit, where cycling superstars of tomorrow will ride laps just hours before the world’s best take to the route.
Riders will be divided by their age, with each group starting between 9am and 11am.
All groups will have 20 minutes to ride as many laps of the special mini tour track as they can before the next group begins.
The 2015 Bupa mini tour for kids is a great opportunity for kids who enjoy riding to be part of an iconic South Australian festival of cycling.
Everyone is invited to stay on after the mini tour finishes and cheer on top riders from around the world – including Australia’s own Cadel Evans – as they race through central Adelaide. Family-friendly entertainment will also be on offer.
Registration for the Bupa mini tour for kids is $30 per child and participants will receive their event ride guide after registrations have closed on Wednesday 14 January.
