Calling All SA Businesses – Applications For Tasting Australia’s 2020 Program Are Now Open

Named as one of the go-to food festivals in the world, Tasting Australia is once again inviting all South Australian businesses to apply and be part of this foodie extravaganza.

As one of the country’s longest-running food and wine festivals, Tasting Australia has evolved with the industry and continues to offer exciting and interactive events, along with many indulgent adventures.

The 10-day festival is a great platform to become associated with the locals, as well as visitors from interstate and around the globe.

With applications for their 2020 program now open, festival Director, Simon Bryant, says it is an opportunity for local businesses to create unique events.

“Guests want to be shown your world! What you walk through every day and think nothing of – that is just amazing to Tasting Australia patrons, and what people from around Australia and the world travel to taste and experience,” Mr Bryant says.

Let your imagination run wild and design an event that showcases your business that will leave your guests wanting more.

Some previous events include breakfast, lunch and dinner, tastings, masterclasses, hands on experiences and a variety of tours.

Tasting Australia will assist and guide businesses on their events to ensure they have every chance to make their mark and introduce themselves in the best possible way to a new audience.

Kane Pollard, chef of Tea Tree Gully’s Topiary, has been involved in Tasting Australia for the past four years and describes how the pre-eminent festival eating and drinking festival was a great way to spread their ethos a lot quicker and to a larger base of people.

Following the success of his events, Pollard was invited to cook in the prestigious Glasshouse Kitchen (pictured above) this year and sold out for the first time ever.

“Representing South Australia in one of the biggest Australian food festivals has always been he number one dream for me, and the pinnacle of where a chef can get in the state, so being asked to do that was beyond words,” he describes.

This year was the most popular edition of the festival, seeing more than 11,000 interstate and international visitors and hosting over 160 events.
