Lou’s Place at Lou Miranda Cellar Door has become a staple in the Barossa for mediterranean long lunches and antipasto platters using seasonal produce.
Opened by Masterchef star Callum Hann, and Themis Chryssidis, their ethos is to use food as a “vehicle of fun” for bringing people together. This ethos, alongside Callum’s upbringing in the Barossa and Themis Greek/Mediterranean background, was the catalyst for Lou’s Place.
A new experience at Lou’s Place is the ‘Vineyard to Table’ exploration. Chief winemaker at Lou Miranda Cellar Door, Angela Miranda, will give a guided tour of the vineyards and exclusive tastings “straight from the barrel”.

Enjoy learning the history of one of the few family-owned wineries left in the Barossa. Then “sit back and relax at the charming cellar door” and devour a generous and indulgent Mediterranean four course lunch, paired with Lou Miranda wines.
This experience is available Fridays only, 11:30am to 2:00pm, and is priced at $149 per person.
Fridays: 18th March – Friday 27th May 2022.
