This scarcely seems believable. Impossible even. But here it is.
McLaren Vale winery S.C.Pannell, which we might add are the reigning Australian Winemaker of the Year, have pulled the biggest international double header we might see in South Australia this year.
It doesn’t really matter which order you introduce these guys in, they’re both huge. Firstly we have Grammy Award winners De La Soul, the WOMADealide headline act who will return to belt out an incredible set of classic beats. They just love an intimate crowd.
But then we have one of the world’s biggest, most loved and respected DJs, Carl Cox. Joined by his esteemed partner in crime Eric Powell, the dynamic duo’s ‘Mobile Disco’ will be entertaining the crowd for most of the day & will see the boys digging deep in their record crates to spin old and new disco, jazz-funk, soul and classic house tunes. Fresh from his final season at Space in Ibiza, after a 15-year residency no less, Carl Cox will be back in Australia right in time for the start of Summer 2016/17 – “Oh Yes, Oh Yes.”
