Glorious weekend weather is predicted for Carnevale and if it is slightly too hot for some there is plenty of shade under marquees, umbrellas and verandas and air-conditioned pavilions.
Everyone has been busy preparing – the marquees are going up in Piazza Italia and the stalls in Piazza Jubilee are being decked out with all kinds of wondrous merchandise and a fascia has been made for each. Performers and artists are ready to entertain you.
The Forums have some wonderful topics to excite and intrigue the most jaded of brains:

– Growing Fresh Veggies Is Good For Your Family with Kate Rhodes, Pat D’Onofrio & Francesco Virgara
– An Italian’s Story: Alberto Sordi in Australia with Luciana d’Arcangeli & Alessandro Vecchiarelli
Another innovative aspect of the 2015 Carnevale is the Technology Planet – Pianeta Tecnologia – come and have a look at companies that have a special relationship between Italy and SA.
Please note that due to the heat rule, The Carnevale Cup (Soccer) is cancelled.
