One of Adelaide’s favourite food trucks CARŌclub has found a home, launching their first brick and mortar kitchen within soon-to-launch ‘Bowden Cellars’ at the new Plant 3 Development in early 2021.

The boys behind the tasty street eats are joining forces with Bowden Cellars at Plant 4 Bowden’s sister hub so that customers can feast on their delicious signature fried chicken, banging burgers and tasty new treats all year round.

CARŌclub co-owner Kyle McLean says he’s excited for CARŌclub to take the big step and finally set up shop in a commercial space.

“We’ve seen a growing demand for our food over the past few years and we’ve developed an incredibly strong customer base in that time. It seemed that the logical next step was to find a permanent spot.” Kyle states.

Teaming up with Bowden Cellars within the Plant 3 hub “was a no brainer”, now making it possible to feed the appetites of CARŌclub fans in an accessible location five days a week.

The CARŌclub kitchen will be run out of Bowden Cellars’ new space in Plant 3 — a multi-functional space including a bottle shop, café and wine bar and a mezzanine event space for wine education and masterclasses.

CARŌclub was launched in mid 2017 by Tim Attiwill and Kyle McLean (My Kitchen Rules 2017) who teamed up with their best mate and head chef Kain Slotegraaf (formerly Bread & Bone, Shōbōsho, Street and Orana).

Offering tasty gourmet burgers, succulent fried chicken and other Tex Mex inspired dishes, CARŌclub quickly became a must-have addition to Adelaide’s foodie culture scene.

Slinging burgers at festivals, concerts, sporting events — most notably within the Adelaide Fringe’s The Garden of Unearthly Delights and the Royal Adelaide Show — it didn’t take long for the CARŌclub menu to become a food truck enthusiast favourite.

Bowden Cellars is owned by Dale Wostikow and Josh Voigt who bring a combined 30 years’ of experience in the wine industry. The pair are also behind the popular Adelaide Wine Markets based out of The Market Shed on Holland.

The shared space will be open Wednesday to Sunday — offering dinner sittings only Wednesday to Friday, with breakfast, lunch and dinner sittings on weekends. The kitchen will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Expect to see the CARŌclub menu favourites alongside some exciting new snack and breakfast options.
