CBD venue giving away free fries for vaccinated patrons

Plant based burger joint Lord of the Fries have announced they are giving away free fries to all patrons who have been vaccinated, whether you’ve had one or both vaccines.

Simply show your Vax Card and you can get a free small fries with a purchase of any Big Burger or Hot Dog.

The vaccination incentive comes in perfect timing as Lord of the Fries have just introduced Australia’s first vegan “BBQ Rib Sandwich”.

The sandwich’s “meat” is made from a variety of plant-based ingredients including non GMO soy & bamboo fibre, and is incredibly realistic as it looks, feels and tastes just like authentic ribs.

The “meat” is shaped in a rib formation with bone like imprints, and the texture is chewy but also pulls apart in the mouth. The ribs are coated in a smokey sweet American style BBQ sauce and are served on a hot roll loaded with pickles and chopped onions.

Co-owner Mark and his brother Sam Koronczyk became vegetarian in the 90’s, and have struggled to find anything that tastes like the rib roll they used to love as a meat eaters.

After searching for 13 years, in 2019 Mark decided if they cant find it, they have to make it. The brothers have taken over 2 years and eaten over 50 samples to finally develop what they say is the best tasting, textured, authentically shaped rib sandwich roll in Australia.

The BBQ Rib Sanwich is available at Lord of the Fries now for $10.

The vaccination offer is redeemable in-store with any purchase of a Big Burger or Hot Dog for a limited time only.
