Kytons Bakery’s popular award-winning Hot Cross buns are back yet again for the holiday season, but this year there’s a twist.
Known for their broad range of hot cross buns, there’s now a new addition to the mix.
This year hot cross bun fans will be able to order personalised buns, which are a fun gift for clients or staff (minimum orders apply). You can choose three letters to adorn your buns, whether that’s initials, or a short word of your choice.
The personalisation tops the fluffy buns, which have been synonymous with the holiday season in Adelaide since 1938.
Showcasing the concept last week, Kytons were proud partners with Foodland Supermarkets at an International Women’s Day lunch, where they served up custom baked hot cross buns with “IWD” topping their delicious Easter treats.

The multi-award winning hot cross buns come in traditional and fruitless flavours, both of which are now vegan.
The traditional buns are made with Australian Dried Fruit (that’s the plump, juicy ones), Laucke Flour, time honoured recipes and a lot of TLC.
There’s also Kytons Menz FruChocs Hot Cross Buns on offer which have been a winning combination for 11 years.
“It’s a great celebration of two fabulous SA companies. Kytons award winning hot cross buns, plus SA’s iconic FrucChocs – it’s a match made in SA heaven,” Kytons owner Sharon Sutton says.
Kytons buns are so popular that if you added the total cross mix piped onto the hot cross buns during an Easter and converted it into kilometers, you would have enough to get you to Victor Harbor (85 kms).

Packs of Kytons buns are available at stockists all over SA as well as through Kytons Community Fundraising drives, plus you can order trays of 21 or 54 buns as well as the personalised buns through Kytons direct.
You can call or email your orders (personalised or not) to Kytons directly, email Emma to find out more [email protected], or shop where they bake at their Edwardstown location which is open on weekdays.
Kytons are baked right here in Adelaide and are available from Kytons at Edwardstown, Foodlands, Drakes, FruChocs shops ( FruChocs buns only) selected IGA’s and gourmet fruit and veggie stores as well as the Kytons online and community fundraising drives.
