This Gin Spring Fling Is Celebrating Adelaide’s Favourite Things

Spend a day lazing in the sunshine and celebrating all things gin on the Inglewood Inn lawns.

We’re in a Spring mood in the office today, reflecting the blue skies and easy breeze outside. We’re in a gin mood too—but that’s a regular thing. What do you get when you put these two moods together? The Inglewood Inn Spring Gin Fling!

If you’re sick of lugging around big jackets and having a cold nose, this is the event for you. It’s a day of lazing in the sunshine on the Inglewood Inn lawns while celebrating all things gin. And we’re talking all things gin—with tastings from the best, local gin distillers, a GnT bar and garnish station, gin matching lunches, and masterclasses!

The line up includes Adelaide Hills DistilleryAmbleside DistillersApplewood DistilleryBarossa Distilling CompanyNever Never Distilling Co.Imperial Measures DistillingProhibition Liquor Co, and Twenty Third Street Distillery.

The dream team at Inglewood Inn are offering general admission tickets paired with minibus transport from either the city or Tea Tree Plaza for $35 return—so that’s one less thing to worry about! You can get your general admission + transport tickets here. Take note that the city minibus departs from the Convention Centre Escalators at 11.30am and the Tea Tree Plaza minibus leaves from “The Civic Park Turn In” at 12.00pm. Both depart the Inglewood Inn at 6pm.

Cheese-A-Holics and the Inglewood Inn are teaming up to bring you pizzas, sliders and tacos all day long, but if you can also grab tickets to sit down with Applewood Distillery’s Brenden Carter at 1pm for a three course lunch with gin pairing and cocktails, while he takes you through the experience of making gin and Australian botanicals in an intimate and delicious setting. Tickets for this special lunch are $80/pp.

You can have a more hands on experience with three different masterclasses on offer, letting you get up close and personal with a few of the distilleries involved to learn the ins and outs and secrets of their craft.
