A month-long Pizza Festival is coming to Campbelltown

With events happening throughout July, Campbelltown’s Pizza Festival celebrates pizza in all its forms along with local musicians!

Thick crust, thin crust, deep dish, gourmet, wood-fired – whichever way you like it, pizza is a favourite around the world and like all things that people love, there is, of course, a festival to celebrate it.

The Campbelltown Pizza Festival takes place throughout July with a number of pizza-specialising venues all taking part to showcase the beloved dish. With a strong history of Italian migration following the Second World War, the Campbelltown Pizza Festival is famed for highlighting traditional Italian pizza-making cultures.

The popular festival is returning this month, with some of Adelaide’s best pizza and pasta restaurants hosting events for all the family and serving up delicious menus sure to rival any Italian holiday feast for those missing trips to Europe.

Think you can eat more pizza than most? Well now is your time to shine because there is not one, not two but THREE all-you-can-eat events, as well as a monster calzone challenge with the winner taking home $500! Not bad for a night out.

Each dinner event will be accompanied by entertainment with a selection of Adelaide’s finest musicians lined up with names like Linda McCarthy, Pulse Duo ad Gab Hyde all ready to serenade you as you serenade your slice.

The Campbelltown area has long been known as having a large and vibrant Italian community and it’s still a secret haven for pizza lovers with authentic Italian restaurants dotted all over the place.

Campbelltown City Council is aiming to support local businesses and attract visitors to the area to appreciate what Campbelltown has to offer.

Visitors are encouraged to book ahead for each venue to guarantee a table and avoid disappointment!

The Campbelltown Pizza Festival will run from 5 – 29 July at participating restaurants.
