As the gin state of Australia, it’s our duty to celebrate the spirit in every way we can — which is why we’re so excited about this Ar-gin-tinean (hah!) degustation dinner at La Boca Bar & Grill, together with 78 Degrees.
With a menu specially designed by La Boca Bar & Grill’s Argentinean head chef Nicolas Arriola, each dish is crafted specifically to match 78 Degrees’ hero gins.
78 Degrees Gin is produced right here by Adelaide Hills Distillery, using native Australian ingredients, just like the other spirits featured in this dinner.
Start out the dinner with roast coriander and pink pepper scallop carpaccio with red radish and fennel salad paired with Australian Green Ant Gin: strawberry and pink pepper fizz.
After that strong start, follow through with house-smoked ocean trout with dill chimichurri and then a sloe gin marinated pork rib-eye with roasted green apple. And, of course, top it off with a sous-vide citrus cheesecake paired with a Gunnery spiced rumble cocktail.
One of the team from Adelaide Hills Distillery will also share in the night, talking you through each of the gins you taste that evening. Nothing quite like a feast for the belly and mind!
