In an Adelaide first, the Halal Food Festival will take over Victoria Square this weekend, celebrating multicultural cuisines from more than 30 vibrant cultures from all around the world.
Food enthusiasts and cultural explorers are in for a treat with the free two-day festival, which will showcase the largest variety of cuisines offered in a local food festival and people can explore the world through flavoursome tastes and smells.

“The Halal Food Fest has been created to deliver a unique culinary experience for the entire state of South Australia, allowing the community to get a delicious taste of culture from every corner of the world right here in our own backyard.” says Mohammed.
“I’m sure there are people curious about what halal food is, and to be honest, most people actually eat halal food already, especially at their favourite restaurants.”
The festival will fun from late in the morning to night time, so you can choose to head out while the sun’s out or explore under the stars.
Stalls with different cuisines on offer will fill the square including Moroccan, Syrian, Pakistani, Afghan, Greek, Indian, Lebanese, Turkish, Bosnian, Ethiopian, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean.
