Because long weekends and wine were made for each other… Right? Right! We have found the ultimate wine tour/Sunday sesh just made for the March long weekend.
The very intelligent guys over at Republic Norwood are bringing us, the good people of Adelaide, their ‘Autumn Harvest’ wine tour.
Kicking off at Republic (of course), you will start your day with a light breakfast. They say that drinking on an empty stomach is always a bad choice, so this seems like a sensible start to the day.
The tour will then make its way to the Adelaide Hills where much wine will be celebrated (and drunk). First stop: Deviation Road.
And it is here that you will feast! With one of the most spectacular views around the Adelaide Hills, along with one delicious menu, you will be in food and wine heaven.
Sidewood also happens to be pretty famous for their floating golf pontoon. Maybe you will get lucky and hit a hole-in-one? Maybe not if you have indulged in a few too many wines… But that is the fun of it! If you are lucky enough to get that hole-in-one you will get your hands on $2000 worth of prizes – including $1000 worth of Maximilian’s gift vouchers and $1000 worth of Sidewood Estate wine vouchers. Where are the golf clubs at?
With both wineries showcasing their premium drops, some seriously tasty treats and relaxed beats (see what we did there), this is one unmissable Sunday session made even better by the fact that you don’t have to work on Monday (we hope)!
