Celebrate World Whiskey Day at NOLA with a whiskey masterclass

NOLA is a New Orleans inspired bar with a huge focus on Creole and Cajun soul cuisine.

To celebrate this year’s World Whisky Day NOLA is pulling out all the stops and releasing not one, not two but four of their NOLA whiskies which have been hidden away in their cellar.

It’s no secret that NOLA loves their whiskey, so over the past few years they have worked with some of their favourite distilleries to start ageing their own whiskeys in seasoned barrels, right beneath your feet as you eat your fried chicken at the bar at NOLA.

They’ll be running half price half nips all day and offering an intimate tutored tasting of all four whiskies with their in house whisky expert Jaime and Ian from Iniquity Distilling, with fried chicken and tots.

NOLA promises their distinct southern hospitality as they treat you to not only the tasting but also an experience where you can learn how these whiskies are crafted.

With a list over 200, there is something for all whiskey, rye, and bourbon enthusiasts. Their list is constantly changing and expanding as they source import rare releases.

“We believe in supporting the little guy and seek to tell their story and promote their products. We have a love for the high-quality products we sell and want to share that love with others. Over time we have learnt the importance of our impact on the environment and strive to create a minimal impact business across all areas. Throughout it all, we maintain the humble mantra of New Orleans, ‘laissez les bon temps rouler!'” NOLA said.

Tickets are very limited for this unique experience, so run don’t walk.
