The premier event on South Australia’s racing calendar, the TattsBet Adelaide Cup, will celebrate its 145th year on Monday 9 March 2015 and the race is again expected to attract some of Australia’s best stayers vying for the $400,000 worth of prize money.
Off-the track, the event promises to be just as exciting, with multiple hospitality and entertainment options expected to draw thousands of racing fans, socialites and fashionistas.
This year a new pop-up venue, The Starting Gate, has been introduced and is expected to be one of ‘the places to be seen’ in Adelaide in 2015 and where you can rub shoulders with the city’s A-List.
The event will again provide fashionable racegoers the opportunity to enter Victoria Racing Club’s Myer Fashions on the Field South Australian State Final. The winner on the day will receive a 10 day trip of a lifetime to the 2015 Melbourne Cup Carnival where they will represent South Australia in the National Final of Myer Fashions on the Field competition at Flemington on Crown Oaks Day, plus a $1000 Myer Shopping Spree and $700 Antler Luggage Pack. The total prize pool on the day is valued at over $13,000.
General Admission tickets to the 2015 TattsBet Adelaide Cup are $25 for adults, $15 for those aged between 14-17 years and the event is free for children 13 and under.
The Motor Accident Commission (MAC) is offering all South Australian Jockey Club members and pre-purchased ticket holders free public transport on all Adelaide Metro networks to and from Morphettville Racecourse for the TattsBet Adelaide Cup.
