The Chalk Hill Collective are hosting a dedicated Dog Day on October 31 where wine and gin lovers can bring their furry friends along on their trip to McLaren Vale.

While dogs are always welcome to visit the Chalk Hill Collective destination, Dog Day has a few extra special treats in store to spoil your pooch.

With a large lawn area overlooking the region’s vineyards and stunning hills, Chalk Hill Collective makes the perfect spot to spread out on the lawns with your pup at your side.

There will be dog treats for all the good boys and girls with mini hotdogs and burger biscuits on the day.

As the event hosted on Halloween, visitors are encouraged to dress up their pooches in spooky and cute costumes! Your furry friend will then get a feature on the Chalk Hill’s Instagram story where people can vote on the best dressed on the day.

Marketing executive Brianna Fischer says the day is set to be loads of fun for the whole family – four legs and all.

“We feel we’ve created a family friendly environment at Chalk Hill, why not let the whole family enjoy the rolling views?!” Brianna says.

“It will be very relaxed atmosphere – expect a relaxed Sunday vibe with a few extra pooches running around.”

The Chalk Hill Collective is a spectacular venue where you can hop between Chalk Hill Wines and Never Never Distilling Co. located just a few steps apart.

Cucina Di Strada links the two serving Italian street food to those who visit both the venues. Whether you’re visiting for gin flights, wine tasting, a slice of pizza, or all three, bring your pooch along for the day to join in on the fun.

Visitors are encouraged to make a note on their bookings for the day that they will be bringing their dog along. In doing so, they will be sure to get a spot outside on the deck for their dogs to sit by their side while they enjoy their tastings.

Dogs will need to be leashed on the day and humans will, of course, need to clean up their poops.

Whether you’ve got a distillery dog or wine pup, all sizes are welcome to Chalk Hill for a dog day out.

Book your tastings here at Never Never Distilling Co. and Chalk Hill Wines.

You can find Chalk Hill Collective at 56 Field Street, McLaren Vale, SA.
