To celebrate 20 years of Geber family custodianship, Château Tanunda is treating itself to a new cellar door, complete with a Great Wall Oak Display.

The grand opening of the cellar door takes place on 29 November, amongst hundreds of aging wine barrels at the iconic blue stone Château.

For wine lovers, the grand opening promises to be an evening of delights. After a sparkling on arrival, enjoy canapés on the croquet lawn amidst the golden setting sun or indulge yourself at the Great Wall tasting area, which will showcase the new vintage release of Chateau Tanunda’s rare, collectable Old Vine Expressions and limited release wines.

The Great Wall Oak Display is 15 metres long and was build from refurbished oak barrels to beautifully showcase Château Tanunda’s top range wines.

Wander the length of the Great Wall, meander through the museum cellars, history displays, or just relax in the mezzanine lounge that overlooks the new cellar door.

On the night, Château Tanunda wines will be available for purchase by both the glass and bottle. Attendance is free, so head on over this weekend to be part of an anniversary celebration and cellar door launch party that’ll have you reminiscing for a while.

Just be sure to rsvp here! Or visit the Château Tanunda website for more info.
