This comes as interest in travel to the sunny coast has peaked with the borders to Queensland opening today. According to Skyscanner there has been a staggering +509% increase in searches to Brisbane in the past week.

Queensland is reopened its borders as of  1:00 am, Monday, December 13 to domestic travellers, without the need for quarantine on arrival.

Double-dosed travellers from hotspots – including New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia – will be able to arrive in Queensland.

No quarantine will be required for the fully vaccinated, while travellers will need a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before arrival.

Anyone who is not fully vaccinated will need to arrive by air and undergo 14 days of hotel quarantine and the state will also require visitors to have been double dosed for at least two weeks to be considered fully vaccinated.

With cheap prices like these, it’s the perfect time to jet off to Queensland for a much needed dose of sun, tropics and a relaxing vacation.
