Booming with popularity since its inception at the start of 2020, Cheekies Hot Chicken has been one of Rundle Street bar, BRKLYN’s most sought features.
Operating as a pop-up the Nashville Hot Chicken Joint has been decimating the mouths of fans who have clued in to the spicy fried chicken craze taking over the US.
Cheekies Hot Chicken will officially take over BRKLYN’s old Pizza store from next week on November 6.
With imported chilis from the US, including Carolina Reapers and Ghost Peppers, as well as their own home-grown chilis, the spice mix sounds like nothing Adelaide has seen so far.
The chicken is fried in a secret flour mix and then dunked in a hot oil mixed with various spices. This mix is then coated with a dry rub containing various spices too. The result is crispy fried chicken at varying heat levels.
